Courtney Schrock

2022 Carolina

Courtney Schrock started playing lacrosse in 8th grade and truly fell in love with the sport. She played through high school and after graduating in 2007 from Central Bucks High School West, went on to play lacrosse at Washington and Jefferson College (D3). She was the captain of her team for three years and the lead scorer with a career total of 200 goals. Courtney was also named NCAC Second Team Selected Offensive Player in 2009 and Washington and Jefferson’s Woman of the Year Athlete in 2011. She graduated from W&J with a BA in Sociology and a minor in French.

After undergrad, Courtney joined the Peace Corps and lived and worked in Ukraine for 2 years (2012-2014) as a Youth Development volunteer. She also worked at a local school in Eastern Ukraine teaching English and Health Lifestyle classes.

After returning to the states, Courtney chose to go back to school to get her Master’s degree. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in May of 2016 with a Master’s in Public Health (Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior) and a Graduate Certificate in Health Communications. She currently works for Health and Human Services in the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. Other than lacrosse and work, Courtney likes to read, snowboard, and watch Hulu/Netflix. She recently took up boxing and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
