REGISTRATION FOR FALL REC TEAMS IS NOW OPEN!
MC Lacrosse has been developing female lacrosse players for over twenty years. Our recreation-level program provides the foundation for girls to build their skills whether they are preparing to join a club team, looking to sharpen their skills or learn a new sport. Our rec program includes 7 weeks of practice and 6 weeks of games in a fall league. We field teams for ages K-8th grade and practice weekly through the fall at Stone Ridge School in Bethesda. Our coaches are paid, experienced coaches who are eager to share their knowledge and love of lacrosse with their players. Our younger players will learn basic skills through fun games and drills. Our older players will be grouped by age and skill, and drills will be appropriate to their developmental level and goals. An on-site coordinator will always be on-hand to oversee practices and answer any questions.
Practices will begin on Tuesday, September 6th and run for 7 weeks (9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11 and 10/18)
K-2nd grade will practice from 6-7pm
3rd-8th graders will practice from 6-7:30pm
All practices will be held at Stone Ridge School in Bethesda.
Our teams will play in a 6-week fall league with weekend games at local fields.
Games are typically on Sunday between 12-6pm.
Game schedule is as follows: 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16 and 10/23
Fees for our fall rec program are $250 per player. This includes all practices, league fees and a full uniform.
Players will need to provide their own equipment: lacrosse stick, goggles, eyewear and mouthguard.
