Jamie Ballard (2030 Carolina Head Coach)
Jaime Ballard was a three-sport varsity athlete at Springbrook High School: field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. There, Jaime served as captain in both field hockey and lacrosse. She was recognized as a first division all-county defender for lacrosse and named Student-Athlete of the year in 2019. During this time, she also played for the Jackals field hockey U16 team, learning techniques and skills that would prove instrumental in her future success.
She continued her athletic career in college playing three years (excluding the covid-year) of field hockey, two years of lacrosse, and one season of softball. She was the field hockey captain her junior and senior seasons of field hockey and was recognized by the conference for sportsmanship and received an honorable mention award. During her sophomore season of lacrosse, her team was the conference champions, and she was named MVP of the conference. Jaime excelled on the field, as well as in the classroom/laboratory. She collected a dean’s list and honor roll award, and was a part of the conference’s all-academic team. She took a break from lacrosse to focus on her health and during that time she was able to explore her passion of raising up the next generation of athletes. Jaime has always been so thankful for her coaches and looks forward to influencing and developing others as she gives back to the sports that helped shape her
